It is finally over! after 4 weeks of frustration and restless sleeps DTC is finally over and I am so glad that I am done with this because i have tons of other assignments to worry about! Although i overslept for a bit , i still managed to arrive to day on time and when i reached there my group mate Uzair was setting up our pitch deck and then later came Harith and Si lence was the last to arrive. Today wasn't a good day at all, coincidentally all of us ran out of ink printers so we couldn't print it the night before and we were hoping that we could print it in the morning before the DTC but sadly even the 24hrs printing shop were closed today because of raya haji so Uzair only managed to print out the value proposition canvas and the project title that i designed yesterday. We had a meeting today and it's on Friday evening where most people would just chill at home but sadly for me i have to complete this DTC thingy. We met up at the library and quickly set up our laptops so we could work on our project. I worked on the carousel design for our website and i included vectors which would attract the kids to stay on our website longer with the colourful background and icons that will surely make the kids go wow! My carousel design for our website I worked on 2 things during our meeting which is the carousel and the poster, i tried to keep the poster simple but yet colourful and keeping the same theme as the carousel and our whole website i used the colour dark blue as the background as a representation of the universe and the stars at the background are kept there as a symbol of knowledge and the vast amount of knowledge that exist in our world. We're meeting up at the fcm cafe for further discussion on our dtc project, specifically today we're classifying who's doing which and although we already knew from the start but this is just to further clarify our roles and to make sure that we aren't confused with what to do. We discussed on how to do our website technically since before this we only talked about it theoritically. I proposed the idea to use the colour theme blue and orange for the website since blue is the colour of wisdome and intelligence while orange is cheerful and the lifting up spirits so it make sense to use these since the target audience are primary students so when they access our website their spirit would be lifted up and they would be more excited to learn and play on our website. I was assigned to do the infographics, poster, carousel design, and the logo which i thought it was a lot of job for me to handle in such a short period of time since i also have other assignments to worry abo...

Finally on our whatsapp group we're discussing on when to have a meet up and we've set up to have its on the upcoming Wednesday and luckily I am free on that day so I'm looking forward on to further develop our progress for our project. At first i planned to do the infographics but then later on i swapped it with Uzair so he's doing the infographics and I'm doing the poster which i have no problem of since i have done quite a few poster before this so i have the rough idea on how our poster are going to look like. The reason why i wanted to do the poster was because i had in mind on what to include in the poster and the essentials such as how to promote our web based so that it could attract other people and i planned to include a lot of colourful and cute vectors so that kids would stay at our website for a longer period of time.

I did some validation from my cousins which are from primary school and i told them the idea of what we had and what would make it more interesting for them to think that our project is interesting and most of them said to make it colourful and not just text based becasue it would make it boring and if its boring then they would not want to go to our website. They suggested to make the colour of the website pops out but at the same time not too hectic. I am definitely going to incorporate some of these elements of what they said into my upcoming designs for my project, stay tuned!

Most of our group members are quiet and busy with their own thing and luckily me and Uzair are in the same faculty so we see each other more often to talk about our DTC project and although we've started to do some basic sketching on the how the design of the website are going to look like we still can't proceed with it because our other group members are up to their own assignments and i am left with Uzair to do the rest.

In this entry I'll be talking about one of my Internet Application lecture and how it helped me understand more about the Dream Team Challenge and what we should include in our pitch deck later on. I found this really helpful since our DTC project has something to do with games and even though it its a quiz based but we are trying to implement like a game element so that it would make it more fun for the kids to use. The principle of making an education games are integration, for example science elements that can create potions being implemented in the game and our group did had a thought on this and tried to use this concept but it was kind of hard, by making this the elements in real life can help make learning more fun and interactive for the kids so they would want to learn more. Second week after DTC and to be honest i am still somewhat lost on what we have to do specifically , sure i know that we have to create a website but I don't know what roles do i have in the team besides designing the website(?) However i have been digging up on the logos and have been thinking of ways to design the logo for our website titled Logolepsy  i had some precedent studies of the logos and had an idea in mind on how to proceed with the logo but since our group were nowhere to be seen i just kept it to myself until further discussions.
