Complete Progress for Assignment 1

So we started working on our first assignment and i worked on the successful examples of e-marketing. I looked up for a few but decided to choose Uniqlo's Unlocking the Power of Clothing campaign and we agreed as a group to proceed with this digital campaign by Uniqlo. For this campign i worked more on the research part, like finding the info needed for each segments like what made it successful and what can we learn from it. Besides that me and Kesavan also worked on the SWOT analysis for our own company Merci Bouquet. We discussed on each parts of the SWOT and tried to find important keywords that can be relate back to our brand. Our strength is that we're providing an encased terrarium upon each purchase to further stand out in the market. We worked together on the KPI's during class on week 4 and we decided that we will mainly focus on Facebook and Instagram as our social media platform to advertise our brand. These will also be the platforms we are planning to be t...

Maslow's Hiearchy of Needs - Week 3

At first hand i thought that this principle doesn't necessarily apply to everyone and as I'm writing this i'm still not sure which needs goes to what brand personally for me so we shall find this out together. I'm saying this because the fact that not everyone relies on brands for their needs, sometimes they rely on whatever brand that can fulfill their needs; so this means that they aren't loyal to one specific brand and more towards their own fulfillment on the things they need to accomplish. The first level is physiological needs which is basically your necessities like food etc. personally i just eat whatever brand there is as long as it satisfy my cravings at that moment but if i were to pick just one brand to represent this level it would probably be I do have a brand in mind for the second level though which would be One More Rep Gymnasium that i often go to for my healthy needs. I've been to other gymnasiums but they weren't to my liking as th...

Creative Marketing - Week 2

On this week's entry I'll be sharing some of the examples for creative marketing that can be found around the world. Firstly, the KitKat's marketing This is a cute way of promoting their product since the bench resembles their chocolate. Secondly, WWF ' Give a Hand to Wildlife ' creative campaign it cleverly matches the campaign motives by using the hand to portray different types of animals. Thirdly, Dove's Real Beauty Sketches which it uses guerilla marketing for passersby to actually take part in as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XpaOjMXyJGk Fourthly, is also a guerilla marketing by Frontline Flea and Tick spray for pet owners.  It uses people to portray the ticks on their pets, a very simple yet interesting creative marketing. Lastly, LG's guerilla marketing of promoting their televisions that has the public plays a role in it. https://youtu.be/NeXMxuNNlE8 its a fun and cool way of letting the public be involve with their prod...

My take on Advertising Design class - Week 1

So, this is basically my fourth AD class as an advertising student. Let's see, my first sem was more towards making a poster digitally then my second sem is making motion graphics with logos that has already been established, i remembered mine was for llaollao. Third sem is making a  new logo, product, mobile app and a short video. I think i learnt a lot from this class especially in designing and how to make it more appealing towards my target audience. It's helpful especially if i were to go to an advertising agency when i graduate or for an internship, however this class doesn't really teach you on the technicalities besides relying on the other class that you're taking or self taught. The lecturers are basically our clients and we're meant to please their taste in designs and do amends according to how they want it which is basically how it works in the real world so i think that's a good start. I learnt how to do motion graphics, 3D modelling etc. and i...
