What is Advertising ? - 1st Entry

Alright so its the first class of environmental media and we were told to look up the definition of Advertising and write it up in our blog. While i was in class i looked up the definition of advertising and most of them define advertising as a "means of communication with the users of a product or service" it wasn't the exact definition our lecturers were looking for. The first class was pretty lenient, it was mostly consist of the whole subjects course and outline and the class schedule. Lastly we played a quick game(?) where the lecturer divided us into groups of people by the answer that we chose and i personally thought that was kinda fun . Looking forward for more of this class!
