The Basics

OK! 
So, this is my first time having my own blog and since a blog is basically a digital version of a diary then i guess i don't really have a problem with it because oh i love to write, from personal to just daily activities i'll write everything that comes on my mind. The name's Muhammad Faris B. Mohd Raji also known as Faris. I was born in Hospital University Malaya , I have 4 siblings. My sister's the oldest being 2 years older than me which is 20, myself 18 and my two younger brother age 11 and 10 years old. I'm an avid reader ever since i was a kid , my sister would usually read novels and i'd get curious so i started reading too and now it has became one of my hobbies. I also love to play video games and basically video games/tv shows/movies/ are my source on improving my english language also yes and reading. The reason why I say this is because whenever I'm playing video games , I'm attracted to their story and lore as well so i'd end up reading their origins and lore on google etc. which in the end improves my english skill. Back to the main topic which is me. I used to live in Kota Damansara but now I'm living in Putrajaya , my hometown is in Taiping ,Perak and Butterworth , Pulau Pinang. Let's see what else shall i talk about myself hmm ? oh ya studies! I studied in SK Kota Damansara Seksyen 8 for around 3 and a half years and i spent the others at SK Putrajaya Presint 14 ( 1 ) and SMK Putrajaya Presint 14 (1 ). I studied science stream back in highschool but i was determined to NEVER partake in any mathematics/additional mathematics ever again in my entire life after finishing my SPM thus me ending up here in MMU studying Creative Multimedia. Although at first I was going to pursue TESL/ENGLISH base studies but that didn't turned out as planned. No worries , I'm still into english language as much as im into art studies. I was a debater back in highschool and ever since the first time me joining the debate team i started to get even more interested in english itself. Whenever I'm free I'd follow along my friends to watch them debate in the open debate for example BACDO open debate that was held in February earlier this year. I love talking but only when a situation is needed for me to talk , if it doesn't i'd rather keep my thoughts to myself. I guess i'm an ambivert where i'm half introvert and half extrovert. Don't really know what else to talk about myself so i guess i'll just end it here. Thanks for reading and have a pleasant day to my readers!

My take on Advertising Design class - Week 1

So, this is basically my fourth AD class as an advertising student. Let's see, my first sem was more towards making a poster digitally then my second sem is making motion graphics with logos that has already been established, i remembered mine was for llaollao. Third sem is making a  new logo, product, mobile app and a short video. I think i learnt a lot from this class especially in designing and how to make it more appealing towards my target audience. It's helpful especially if i were to go to an advertising agency when i graduate or for an internship, however this class doesn't really teach you on the technicalities besides relying on the other class that you're taking or self taught. The lecturers are basically our clients and we're meant to please their taste in designs and do amends according to how they want it which is basically how it works in the real world so i think that's a good start. DTC - WEEK 6 ENTRY 1

Most of our group members are quiet and busy with their own thing and luckily me and Uzair are in the same faculty so we see each other more often to talk about our DTC project and although we've started to do some basic sketching on the how the design of the website are going to look like we still can't proceed with it because our other group members are up to their own assignments and i am left with Uzair to do the rest.

DTC - WEEK 8 ENTRY 2

It is finally over! after 4 weeks of frustration and restless sleeps DTC is finally over and I am so glad that I am done with this because i have tons of other assignments to worry about! Although i overslept for a bit , i still managed to arrive to day on time and when i reached there my group mate Uzair was setting up our pitch deck and then later came Harith and Si lence was the last to arrive. Today wasn't a good day at all, coincidentally all of us ran out of ink printers so we couldn't print it the night before and we were hoping that we could print it in the morning before the DTC but sadly even the 24hrs printing shop were closed today because of raya haji so Uzair only managed to print out the value proposition canvas and the project title that i designed yesterday.
